You can put in as much or as little work as time allows on dinner. If pressed for time, buy a sliced precooked ham, some shredded carrots for a quick carrot salad, a can of asparagus and English peas for a quick asparagus and pea casserole, ready to heat Sister Shubert's Rolls, and the makings for strawberry shortcake and you can have an easy meal.
If you have more you can't beat a home baked ham, homemade pigeon rolls, and strawberry shortcake made with homemade pastry or shortbread.
